Solid Place

Overall solid place to stay. The main notable item is the picturesque location of the property. It's slightly away from the main part of the beach which has its pros and cons. It's a little quieter with better views but you'll need to drive (2 minutes) to the main part of the beach for a few more restaurants and wider area of the beach. You can still walk across the road to the beach but it's rocky to swim. Good for wading and walking if that's what you're looking for. The pictures are spot on to the actual condo. Very modern, safe, and clean. The best item to note is the owner is amazing to work and communicate with. Solid all the way around. No hesitations to rent again.

Great location, easy parking, lots of space in apartment

We had a wonderful two week stay here. The apartment is well located right on the beach in Strand with safe, convenient parking. The views from the apartment are stunning! Inside the apartment, there is more than enough space, with a very large master suite, two other bedrooms and a second full bathroom (with separate tub and shower like in the master bathroom), and a half bathroom. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator/freezer and a great amount of counter space. Having a washer & dryer was essential! Having the large dining table plus the bar with stools was more space than we needed, but we enjoyed sitting at different spots for different meals, and I can imagine this being nice for larger families or groups. The continuous, full-height windows and doors along the living and dining areas offered amazing views. While the building is in a quiet area on the beach, it is still within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Many times we walked on the beach to dinner. Ciao Bella was a favorite for pizza, don't miss the Belgian Waffle House (the owner is from Belgium and uses a secret family recipe for the amazing waffles), and there are a couple liquor stores nearby for wine and beer. Somerset is a quick drive away -- we liked driving along Beach Road all the way despite it being a few minutes longer than taking the highway -- where you'll find all your shopping and dining needs. Also, don't miss Cheetah Outreach there, where you can get up close with the beautiful animals and learn about the fascinating work they are doing to save the wild cheetah population. The few minor issues that arose were quickly and efficiently resolved by the attentive management staff, and in addition the owner communicated with us regularly.

magnifique

L'appartement que j'avais loué à strand et son emplacement correspondaient tout à fait aux photos que j 'avais reçues. Il ne manquait rien à l'intérieur. Aucune déception de ce côté là. La vue du 9e étage était magnifique. Si l'occasion se représente, je reviendrai après grand plaisir dans cet appartement mais de préférence en été pour pouvoir profiter de la piscine.
