The lady at the front desk was wonderful. Extremely helpful and friendly. The room was new, clean and basic but comfortable. The he bathroom was really nice. Great location to the wine tram and only a 5 min walk to the main area of town.

Both rooms we stayed in (11 and 1 ) were well cleaned with bedding likewise..we would recommend the executive suits as they are much bigger with a small patio out the back..staff are lovely and there is plenty of parking. Only issues we had was with No.1 were the kettle was not working and there was a leak out of the kitchen water taps..air conditioner was not producing cold air to allow a decent nights sleep, but as I said, this is very reasonable place to stay and has easy access to the wine trams.

Great news place to rest your head

The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. It’s easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues.

Great welcome and hospitality, comfortable setup right in the center of Franschhoek. Even accommodated a slightly later check-out. Very comfortable and well-equipped, just the bathroom could be slightly better designed but overall will definitely return and recommend!

No views at all unless you class a brick wall as a view. Property perfunctory and more like a backpackers place. Very noisy due to some exuberant neighbours. Staircase creased and fridge kept going off and on during the night. Most disappointing was the TV. Tho it had every channel under the sun apparently, including DSTV none of it was accessible unless you brought your own streaming access!
