Friendly staff. Great location. Unfortunately the pool was being refurbished and we had a slight panic before check in as the hotel sent a confirmation through the day before arrival with the wrong dates. We couldn’t get hold of anyone to speak with. It was all fine on check in but caused some stress in advance.

I was looking for a hotel close to the V&A Waterfront where I could walk to the waterfront and feel safe. This hotel fit the bill and I have to say it felt really safe walking the few blocks to the waterfront even when it was dark. Location wise, it was perfect for me. The front desk staff was also excellent. I dealt with a number of them and they were uniformly helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel also serves up a very good buffet breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stay Away

I booked 3 suites and a regular room for 5 nights. 4 days with no hot water. Each day we told the front desk and they said they would call maintenance with no sumpathy. We had a busy work trip and could not shower. Day 2 the water started smelling really bad, a toxic chemical smell. The hotel guests were not notified of this. On day 4 When we asked we were told they were “purifying” the water. I asked why we were not notified and magically within an hour we received a letter under our door notifying us. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. Bottled water was not replenished daily either. On our last day my son got violently ill with a stomach virus. We took him to a doctor and was told that it was due to contaminated water most likely from the hotel purification. Hotel did nothing to offer alternative solutions or compensate besides offering a free dinner at there restaurant on the last day. 2 star hotel at best. Hotel management has not acknowledged or responded to date.
