Skaap Huis, our villa in the vineyard, is surrounded by 3 hectares of Skaap Wines vineyards. From the east patio you have a magnificent view over the vineyard onto the Hottentot Holland mountains. On the west patio you have your own pool and BBQ area. This beautiful 4 bedroom house is ideal for families and friends that want to stay somewhere quiet while being close to all the attraction that this area has to offer.

Detailed Overview:

Guests: Up to 8 guests. Children of all ages are welcome. Kindly not that children need to be supervised at all times, as the pool is not fenced

Bedrooms: 4 Bedrooms: Four with king size beds, we can change two King beds to four singles on request

Bathrooms: 3 bathrooms: Two en-suite with double basin and shower and one sharing with double basin and shower over bath.

Amenities: Charlotte Rhys toiletries. All linen and towels, including beach towels and dish clothes are supplied.

Kitchen: Open plan fully equipped and fitted: dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, small appliances and Nespresso coffee machine.

Scullery: Extra fridge and freezer, washing machine and dryer

Living and dining: Open plan living area, kitchen and lounge, with large dining table.

Entertainment room: Large Smart TV, selected DSTV, high speed WiFi internet connection, private phone.

Outdoors: Large patios on both side of house, lap pool (15mx3m), artificial grassed area, gas BBQ.

Electronics: Large screen HD 3D TV, DVD player, iPod docking station.

Cooling & heating: Air-conditioning in all rooms of the house. Heated towel rails is bathrooms.

Views: Magnificent views over the vineyards of Hottentot Mountains.

Cleaning: House-keeping service three times a week (every other day), except on Sundays and public holidays. Its a quick service, making beds, refreshing linen and towels, cleaning bathrooms, take rubbish away and vacuum floors. They do not do dishes, please use the dishwasher for your dishes.

Parking: Private parking for up to 4 cars.

Security: Situated on a secure country estate, armed response and alarm.

Located: Surrounded by working vineyard and olive trees, workers and machinery attend to our vineyards sometimes during the week

Guesthouse: Our guesthouse is approximately 150m from the house. At the guesthouse someone is always available to help with bookings of restaurant and tours. You can also join us for breakfast or dinner, come for a cup of coffee or book a relaxing massage with our in-house therapist. Advance booking is necessary as we are only a 5 bedroomed guesthouse and space is limited.

The Farm: Our farm is 17 hectares. We have a guesthouse and two self-catering lodge and a communal pool which you can use. We farm grapes for our wine (Skaap wines), take care of our pine plantation and have a conservation area. Your welcome to walk around our farm and enjoy the nature. Kindly note that we only use biodegrable products and seperate the rubbish.

The Estate: Our farm is located on Wedderwill Secure Country Estate, a 266 ha wine and lifestyle farm. With over 20 km of hiking trails and a large dam for swimming.

Surroundings: We are located between Gordons Bay and Somerset West on the Schapen bergen. Gordons Bay is a lovely beach town with a few restaurants and a blue flag beach. Somerset West has many famous vineyards like Vergelegen Wine Estate and Lourensford estate with good restaurants. Idiom Wine estate is next door and Waterkloof Wine estate only 5 km away. Vergelegen Plein is a small mall 5km away which has supermarkets, pharmacy, hairdresser and some restaurants.
