One highlight is the lighthouse, which gives the town its name and offers a marvellous view. The picturesque old town with its cafés and restaurants is perfect for a stroll. An excursion into the hinterland to the Nebrodi Mountains or a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands is also worthwhile.
