This is a second floor unit of a duplex property. Downstairs noise may be heard from time to time. Downstairs patio is private to the lower unit.
While garage parking remains private for you, beach items and bikes are stored in the garage for downstairs guests as well.
This home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Noise regulations are strictly regulated and enforced.
We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets.
Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Attention:
This rental has strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.

Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. Requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you for staying with us!

We loved everything about this property. Its location is great and it has everything you need. It’s expertly decorated and clean. My kids loved the bunk room! Honestly it is the nicest, most functional VRBO property we have ever stayed at. Communication was great as well. We look forward to renting again!

Cardiff Getaway

It is a beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and extremely clean property. I enjoyed a getaway with my wife, and we would love to return with our children. It's just a short walk from the beach, and there are excellent food options. The hot tub on the balcony was an added bonus. It was a super relaxing three-night stay. The owners were responsive and helpful. We would love to return and highly recommend it to anyone considering renting it.

We were so fortunate to stay at this beautiful home in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. The home has recently been entirely remodeled and it is nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail was well thought out and this home was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything one would need for their stay. Drift Vacation Homes was a very pleasant and professional company to deal with. Check in and check out was a breeze. Even the tiniest bit of information was provided before check in, which put us at ease and allowed us to start exploring beautiful San Diego and the North County. Location is stellar with short drives to nearly any activity in the greater metro area.

Gorgeously decorated and lots of social spaces

I loved the design of this house and how it's decorated. We were in town for a wedding with family coming over. It was great to have so many open sitting and social spaces to visit with them. There's a fire pit outside, a large dining room table outdoor, one inside and open kitchen. It was very nice! The only thing was that the downstairs renter who moved in a few days after we were there complained to us on their last day that they could hear us walking around the entire time and every conversation. I wish that we would have known that because we would have been quieter when we had windows open and such. Otherwise, we enjoyed our trip!

For family reasons we rent often in this area and this is by far the best property we've come across. New, stylish, well appointed, a partial view of the ocean and great access from the highway, yet walkable to the beach. This spacious upper floor 3 bedroom condo is a real gem. Indoor/outdoor living - a paved deck with hot tub, fire-pit, a grill, full outdoor dining and a kitchen pass/bar to fully utilize the outdoor space. Well designed interior, understated neutral colors & textiles, yet spacious for a family of 6. A full kitchen - large island, good appliances. Family room with high ceiling & exposed beams, a dining area and comfortable sectional couch. A compact master bedroom w. ensuite and plenty of storage. 2nd bedroom - comfy queen bed, storage and an extra TV. 3rd bedroom - custom queen bunk beds with stairs. All have sliding doors to small balconies. All new amenities as listed, w. plug-in car charger. Altogether a class act, great responsive service. We're coming back!
