With over 100 acres of meadows, gardens and mature woodlands, pack a picnic and head to Bryngarw Country Park 2 miles away to reconnect with the great outdoors. Those looking to answer the call of the coast can head to the bustling seaside town of Porthcawl 11 miles away, home to a seafront Esplanade, gloriously golden sands and plenty of excellent cafés and restaurants. Visit St Fagan's National Museum of History which is Wales' most visited heritage attraction, visit the Edwardian botanical gardens at Dyffryn Gardens or will you spot a deer at Margam Country Park.
