Having seen the photos we booked this place thinking it would be a pleasant place to stay for a short family break in Cardiff. We were extremely disappointed to find the apartment was not up to the standard of cleanliness we expected.The apartment is in need of a deep clean. The entrance hall was all broken tiles and peeling paint with rubbish blowing around. Inside the flat downstairs smelt like a laundrette as the dryer was still running while upstairs smelt stale like the windows haven’t been opened for ages. There was a thick layer of dust on the headboards and dirty streaks on the walls by the beds. The bathroom had specks of brown dirt on the tiles. We decided not to stay and moved to a nearby hotel. Poor communication from the host - check in info requested one day before arrival but no response, requested again on day of arrival but no response. I had to contact Vrbo customer services and Vrbo Care who Managed to get in contact with the host. Very disappointing experience.
