Charming, Cozy and Clean Cottage in Carlisle

Welcome to the Carlisle Cottage. A studio home that is small, cute, clean & conveniently located.

Upon entry you will find yourself in a comfortable and well appointed space that is large and open. The cottage offers the feel and all the conveniences of a home away from home.

The kitchenette offers a full refrigerator with top freezer, stove, oven and microwave as well as pans, cooking utensils and most items needed for preparing a meal or baking a treat.

Work or relax in the cottage with the convenience of highspeed wifi.

For your relaxation there is an oversized, comfortable couch equipped with 2 chaise lounges, cupholders and built in standard USB plugs. Curl up on the couch to watch a movie or the big game in front of the large, cable included smart tv that sits atop an electric, remote controlled fireplace. The fireplace is also a cozy source of heat when needed.

For sleeping you will find a queen size bed equipped with a new (Jan 2026) medium firm hybrid mattress fitted with 100% cotton, 800 thread count sheets for a comfortable skeep. Additionally a Queen air bed is available upon request when booking. The cottage can easily and comfotably sleep 4.

Not downtown, but centrally located to Carlisle shops, restaurants, the US Army War College, Dickinson college and the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Due to a lack of sidewalks, it is not walkable to these locations but Carlisle is easy to get around through Uber. Easy I 81 on/off access and minutes to the PA Turnpike.

Smoking is not allowed indoors but is ok on the porch with a receptacle provided.

Enjoy a nice day on the small front deck that offers a quaint table with 2 chairs. There is also a shade awning that is usually retracted during weather but can be opened upon request.

Your car will be parked off street in the first space just off the front deck which is designated with a guest parking sign. Should you need more than one space or parking for an oversized vehicle or trailer, please discuss with host prior to booking as host shares the same parking area and will need to ensure the request can be accommodated.

For security, there are outdoor cameras and motion sensored lights on the cottage and near guest parking. The host lives just outside the front door in the main house on the property.

As listed in our policies, we do not allow nor can the cottage accommodate any parties or events.

This cottage offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Carlisle cottage is smoke free.
