Great Break on a Long Drive

We love to stay here on our way to and from the New England. The location is perfect and the adjoining steak house is a wonderful place to unwind after driving all day. It is an added plus that they are dog friendly.

The free continental breakfast needs help. the set up on the counter was unorganized and the eggs and sausage were not very good. I know the eggs are usually eggbeaters but they could have used some flavor.

Very convenient to historic Carlisle and Dickinson College. Good dinner place as well. Small signs of wear and tear in rooms, but large and accomodating. Breakfast is only middling, but hey, its free and its there.

We always stay here when visiting Carlisle because of its downtown, walkable location. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Parking garage a bonus. Some of the rooms could use a refresh.

Don’t miss this Charming, Vintage Gem

Loved the vibe at the portico and front lobby of this Historical Hotel. Felt more like a vintage Inn or B&B especially with the tavern, outside covered street patio and popular restaurant in the building. Food is delicious. Rooms are large, very clean, fresh and beds were very comfortable. There is no smoking on premises. They offer the usual Free breakfast, internet and parking. If you’re traveling on route 81 going through Carlisle Pa I wouldn’t hesitate to spend the night at this charming little gem only a couple blocks off the interstate. Everything about it was wonderful!

I rated this property (Terrible) because my room smelled like mold. It wasn't a faint smell; it was a powerful smell. It was as if the carpet had gotten wet and moldy, and they tried to cover it up. I've stayed here many times, so it's likely that something has happened in the last couple of months that they haven't addressed.
