Professional and courteous staff. Breakfast could have been better, danish, coffee(no decafe) juice, no place to sit. Should advertise..breakfast on the go. Overall, fridge/microwave a huge plus!

It was very cold and the beds had a thin blanket. We decided to turn the heat on, there was smoke everywhere and the smoke detector went off. We were moved to a new room. I would never stay here again.

Be sure to know what room you're getting when you choose it. all the pictures for each room are not the actual room you're getting. this is the second time this has happened. Also on a 7-Day stay we got to see approximately 6 to 7 different people working the front desk only one of them ever smiled the rest of them were rude sour face and acted like it was a pain in their butt to help you we won't be staying there again

Really solid for an inexpensive hotel located very near the beach. Clean rooms, recently updated, easy check-in, pool. Perfect for a place where you just need to put your stuff down while you're enjoying all that SoCal has to offer. Cons were minor: the "breakfast area" was really just a counter in the lobby with coffee and some prepackaged snacks, and the hotel is located right next to the freeway. Overall, however, it was a great bang for the buck and I would definitely stay here again.

Traffic noise is too loud

This hotel is right by the freeway. There are no interior hallways so the doors and windows leak sound, especially the doors. This was the biggest challenge when it came to working, relaxing, or sleeping, and reminds me never to book this close to a freeway without proper insulation from traffic noise. It is also evident from the lobby and any outdoor areas like the pool. Additionally there are no direct stairs to the 3rd floor - only stairs that lead to the sidewalk outside the property.

Friendly staff, good service. Safe, quiet, clean. The only complaint was the complimentary pastry was same every single day. It would be nice to have a change of pastry alternating even every other day with the coffee, esp staying at the hotel for more than 3 days. Just a suggestion.

Noisy freeway but promised quieter locale

really noisy freeway traffic.the rooms front door was not protected from the freeway, so noise came right through. the rooms whose front doors are protected by the elevator shaft are probably quiet. disappointed since i asked when i reserved about the freeway noise and they said they'd put me in the back. but #310 is right in front of the freeway exposed and on top floor which noise travels up. will not stay again the 8.2 rating doesnt make sense. really disappointed in the "breakfast". non-existent.

This is definitely the cleanest place I have ever stayed! I smelled a nice aroma immediately first entering the lobby. The open courtyard with large plants makes this immaculately kept place feel more spacious. There are 2 luggage carts for guests to use to transport their belongings from their vehicle to their room and back. The elevator is quick with very little wait times. The only negative was the 2 guests who entered/exited their room next door separately within seconds of each other slamming their door as hard as they could. It was intentional at times when the door was opened and slammed shut with nobody going in or out and due to the frequency of this happening. How nice it was when they gone during the day. The second day when they returned late afternoon once again the slamming began repeating over and over within just a couple minutes of the previous slam. I called the front desk and told the staff member of this rude slamming asking if she could hear it. She replied “They got back here about an hour ago from work. They are nice. I like them.” I then asked her “Are you going to address the problem or do I need to? If I do it might get ugly because I won’t be nice about it.” She said “ I will take care of it and give them a call in their room. It might be a hard door to shut.” WOW! They could pull the door shut without slamming it and hear the click that it was closed & locked like I did and other guests.

Overall, good.

Rooms were renovated and clean. Downside was very close to freeway, and very loud guests next door. Comfort was good, and proximity to Legoland was great. Booked last minute, and enjoyed our family time.

We walked in for check in and didn’t get acknowledged by the person at the desk and this hotel confirms a free breakfast but it’s actually a pastry just a heads up, just liked to add it would be great if they greeted their guest hotel is very noisy there’s a free way right next to it which you wouldn’t know if you were new to the area. I wouldn’t recommend it .
