Disappointing Stay I stayed at this hotel recently, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The room was extremely small, with hardly any closet space. The beds were very hard and lumpy, making it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep. Additionally, there was a faint odor in the room that I had to keep spraying Lysol to manage. With four people in the room, we had very little space to move around. It felt cramped, and we were basically on top of each other the entire time. To make matters worse, shortly after checking in, we discovered three bugs in the room. Two were likely water bugs, but one was a larger bug that was in the sink. We turned on the hot water, and it eventually went down the drain. I went to the front desk to ask if they had a known bug issue, and all I got was a "What room are you in?"—no apology, no offer for a new room, an upgrade, nothing. I was really disappointed with the lack of customer service and cleanliness. Despite the neighborhood seeming nice, I would never return to this hotel.

It Served It's Purpose

Offered Wi-Fi but it wouldn't work. The ice machine was toward the front, and we were in the back. Some basic cable channels seemed to be buffering. Room was small, shower was missing a liner, pillows weren't very comfortable. No temperature control panel. The plus side was the location. Close to many restaurants, Starbucks, and freeway. It was clean and was ok for the 2 nights we stayed. And it fit our budget with 3rd party discount.

The location is good, it’s close to the beach. The staff is very nice. I will say though, the rooms need need to be cleaned better. The floor looked clean but it felt like it needed to be mopped. The shower was not draining fast enough and it seemed a bit clogged. Also, I left the AC on one day and when i came back there was a mysterious puddle on the floor no where near the AC unit, I think the water came from the floor boards.

HOT ROOM

Although I specified a non smoking room it smelled like smoke. It also smelled musky as soon as we entered. The worst part is the AC didn’t work all night so we packed up and left at 4am! When I mentioned to the front desk she explained how the chiller kept going out.

No AC

The AC was down go the entire building. 85+ degrees in the room. Girl at the front desk said sorry. The next morning another girl said sorry she couldn’t do anything. I’ll be disputing it. Didn’t even sleep in the room.

Took way too long to check in. Gave me a room without fridge when I reserved one with one. Took two hours for them to bring in a fridge, leaving cold food I had brought to warm. Each night the AC, without any input from me, turned into heat and made the room into a sauna. The shower floor was filthy/damaged. The room floors were not clean. The bed was uneven with its springs. Overall a poor experience. Let management know about the AC/heat after the first night: they played dumb and dismissed it. When it happened the second night, I cancelled the final night and went elsewhere.

Affordable. It’s located in a nice quiet neighborhood with a short distance to the grocery store and fast food restaurants, not very far from LEGOLAND. Unfortunately, our room was not the cleanest. Floors weren’t clean. There was food on the floor and sheets, towels were a bit stained. Beds are not the most comfortable either but it was doable for just the night. The pool was clean.

We were not told that the buildings had NO AC and currently still do NOT have AC. A balloon was on the floor in our room when we checked in. The 3 girls during our stay thought it was funny we had NO AC. The general manager that showed up said he knew there is NO AC in the buildings for awhile yet still making people pay full price for tickets. All they could offer is a few pennys back for having NO AC and sub par room

The bed was horrible. I am not a harsh critic ever, but the bed was completely unacceptable. The mattress was thin and lumpy and I could hear the springs every time I moved. If I slept, or tried to sleep I should say and I was facing the wall I felt as though I needed to hold on so that I would'nt roll off if my husband moved as he was tossing and turning also trying to get comfortable. Mattress needed to be thrown out 10 years ago. Since we need another room for tonight, I asked the receptionist if there were rooms for the next day to which he confirmed there were if I wanted to book again. After this I'm packing up and finding another hotel.
