A short walk to the East is the Mission Ranch, owned by former Mayor/Actor Clint Eastwood. See sheep in the meadow, lagoon or enjoy a fine meal at sunset. Point Lobos is an experience that shouldn't be missed!

This cottage is charming, spotless, and in a perfect location. (We were a short walk to the beach but in a very quiet area). Each large bedroom has its own bathroom, which is great for two couples. Firewood was provided, which is often not the case. The patio fire pit was nice with the chilly afternoons. I highly recommend this cottage when visiting Carmel.

We were pleased to enter a spotless home and find it fully equipped with all we needed for our week-long stay. We felt right at home and settled right in. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The outdoor spaces made our stay even nicer, as we spent time with coffee in the morning and cool drinks in the comfy outdoor furniture in the afternoon. The location was ideal for walking to the beach and enjoying the charm of downtown. When we needed help, our host was quick to respond to my text. All in all, this was a 15 out of 10 property!

Our second time in this property!We had a great time, very peaceful and quiet location, perfect for relaxation!The property is close to Carmel River Beach and close to Scenic Drive perfect to walk with our two westies and meet people walking their dogs.We enjoyed our daily walks to scenic and to Ocean Ave, the home has all the amenities that you will need and more. We loved everything about our stay in Carmel. The house was incredibly located, charming and had everything one could need. We were there two weeks and could have stayed forever. The house is cozy and comfortable. It is even prettier than the pictures. Can't wait to go back!

This place is all about location. You are walking distance to not one but 2 beaches just minutes away! The golden rectangle is about a 20 minute walk. You can choose to walk the streets of Carmel and see all the interesting houses, or take the path that runs alongside the beach. The house was well kept and the kitchen well equipped. TV reception was a bit spotty and there is no DVD player as listed. The two bed/two bathroom setup is great. Washer and dryer are also a big plus when staying at the beach. There is a cozy fireplace as well, which is nice on a fall evening. All in all a great stay.

Wonderful 8 nights at the Cottage. Relaxing and comfortable home environment. Patio sunny in the morning and moon and stars at night. Walk a few blocks to access 2 different Carmel beaches. Nice to walk the neighborhood and appreciate the unique, beautiful architecture of each home. Karen was very easy to communicate with.

Very spacious cottage with a lovely terrace in the back and fully fenced backyard that allowed us to travel with our dog. Few minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes drive to great restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped. We will be returning!
