very quiet area. beware the superior room - it has a lovely view and is a nice room but there is no elevator. to get to the room you go up 4 flights of stairs, the last of which is a spiral staircase. difficult to take up luggage any bigger than a tote bag.

It's a cute little hotel in the city of Carmelo itself. Right by the river. If you like the city of Carmelo it's a great place to stay, but if you are there for the bodegas she will be driving for each one
