Take in water views and cool, coastal breezes on the fully screened porch or fire up the gas grill for a perfect backyard barbecue out on the patio.

After the day's adventures, kick back on the leather sofa recliner in the living room and stream your favorite shows or movies on the smart TV. A cozy gas fireplace adds a touch of ambiance and warmth for chilly evenings. The kitchen comes well-equipped to handle homemade meals with plenty of counter space and full-size, stainless steel appliances. Such a beautiful home so close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect for our family to relax. If you have not been to Carolina Beach, NC this is the perfect home to experience the beach of the south.

Book through Vacasa, NOT VRBO!

The house is largely as described, and we found it comfortable and well equipped. “Waterfront” is not really accurate, however. There is some sort of a body of water in the back, but at the beach one expects “waterfront” to be on the beach or on the sound, or at least on a navigable canal, and this isn’t. The place was very clean, but the lawn badly needed mowing when we arrived, which was a problem because we planned to play bocce. However, they were very responsive and got it cut during the day while we were away, so that ended well. The grill could use a good cleaning. Go straight to Vacasa to rent and avoid the VRBO service fee.

The house was nice...but...

House wasn't cleaned when we arrived. We weren't able to access the house until 7:30 pm. They did buy food for us and refunded our cleaning fee. The next morning we were locked out of the house because the dead bolt stopped working. We called and were told how to access the key from the drop box and someone would be by to fix the lock. We waited there until after 2 and finally left. Maintenance guy called at 4:23 pm and said he couldn't come until the next day. I said that was fine because I left with the key. We were there for less than 48 hours and ended up with about 5 hours of daylight that we could actually enjoy time outside. Trip was kind of a fail. Also, feel the ocean breezes is a stretch. House is about a mile from the beach. The house is very clean and nice. It is also in a quiet neighborhood but you can hear the music from live bands.

Great home!

This is a great property to rent. Love that it allows dogs and the fenced in yard is perfect for them. Less than a 4 min drive to the boardwalk and the beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. I will certainly rent this home again.

Awesome Accommodations!

Beautiful home! My family and I enjoyed our stay. Location is good but was disappointed regarding the “water views” description. We expected it to be near the beach but the view of the man made lake was lovely.
