The check in area is too far away from the room. We had to walk almost 2 blocks to get from CVI to the motor lodge. We are old and’s can’t walk easily. You should have check in at the motor lodge or a shuttle service to and from the lodge. Our keys didn’t work when we finally got to our room and we had to call CVI again to tell them. We couldn’t walk back to the registration desk to get new keys. CVI did send engineering over to open our door but there was no place for us to even sit while we waited. Otherwise the room was nice but terribly inconvenient. I am surprised CVI would run the hotel that way.
