The hotel itself is great, although it is starting to show its age. Our complaint is about the resort fee and the parking fee. Be prepared to pay an extra $75 per day for all the fees. The resort fee was especially strange since it doesn't give you much.

Solid 2 night stay amid end of season snow storm

Great experience with snow falling overnight. The Osteria Sierra was delightful and the new room was clean and modern looking. Happy to get assistance from bellhops on the conditions for both skiing and driving. Only disappointment was Saloon because satellite was down and TVs weren't working. Servers were nice though.

We weren't aware that the beach and everything around it (restaurant) were going to be shut down due to renovations until AFTER we booked. We decided to give it a try anyways. We came during Spring Break and were disappointed they did not have more activities. They had pine cone decorating, a snow shoe hike, and archery. That was it. Our teens were completely bored. The bunk bed room was a GREAT size. Highly recommend the upgrade. The pillows weren't great, though. Bring your own. Restaurants that were open weren't great either. Cutthroats Saloon was convenient, but just ok food. Breakfast sandwich from Tahoe Provisions was terrible. Casino was clean and nice. Had a typical casino smell though. The resort has potential to be great, it just fell short. Disappointed.
