We really liked the place, ambience and staff. The main drawback is the super busy road out front that you have to cross to get to the lovely beach. This is the same for all properties in the area and wish the authorities would restrict traffic speed, or make cars adhere to pedestrian crossings, which they totally ignore.

The food at the hotel was honestly very good. The only thing about this hotel that I did not like was that you had to pay a 16 dollar fee to have your room cleaned everyday or which ever days you wanted it cleaned. But other than that everything else was great.There staff was also super nice.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not satisfactory. The door to my room was damaged, and there was no way to access it from the hallway. The only “solution” offered was to enter through the connecting door of another room, a situation that is completely unacceptable and compromises the guest’s safety, privacy, and comfort. Despite the seriousness of the issue, no form of compensation was offered, nor was an appropriate solution provided. This type of failure reflects a lack of proper maintenance and poor management when dealing with serious problems. I expected a much more responsible response consistent with the level of service the hotel claims to offer.

The staff at this hotel are really nice and helpful. The ladies at the cafe and the pool bar were very warm and friendly. The girls at the spa were amazing when I got my massage. The maids and cleaners were always smiling and would greet you. Rooms were clean, bathrooms are concrete floors but clean and sanitary. The food at the cafe and pool bar was pretty good and there are other hotels and restaurants within walking distance. You are also a USD $5 cab ride away from El Centro where you can walk easily and safely around to restaurants, cafes, and shops. It’s right across from the beach and a huge Cartagena sign for photos and beach life. Beach across from the hotel is only a 6 out of 10 but I may be a beach snob. There is a beach that you can do a cheap excursion to called El Blanco in Baru. Blue water, jet skis, about a 90 min ride by bus where you see the countryside of Colombia. Highly recommend.
