Set around a courtyard, a beautiful swimming pool framed by republican arches and surrounded by fresh tropical vegetation. Located in the heart of the HISTORICAL CENTER in the area of San Diego. Just a few meters away you'll find Fernandez Madrid Plaza, Santo Toribio Church, San Diego Plaza, School of fine arts, Santa Clara hotel and the Exito of San Diego.

Perfect oasis in chaotic Cartagena!

Lovely quiet cool characterful place that was a perfect antidote to the intensity and chaos of the wonderful city of Cartagena. 300 year old building that has been lovingly updated without losing any of the character of the original building. The plunge pool is a great way to chill and soal away some of the stress of walking such an amazingly historic city (we did 8kms in a couple of hours)The custodians of the place made us feel very safe especially at nightThe location was on the edge of the old town. Quiet yet only two minutes walk to lovely restaurants bars retailers and cafesAl (the owner) was extremely responsive to any queries and solved a small problem with our fridge. The top of the line washing machine and dryer were perfect for laundry needs. A special thankyou for the extremely comfortable king sized bed which had us sleeping like babies. We would return if we were back in old town Cartagena again!!

Absolutely Beautiful

We loved our stay! It’s a beautiful spot with excellent hosts and the apartment was such a gem. Beautifully appointed, well situated, and spotlessly clean. It felt like a home away from home. Tucked right in the heart of the old town with a beautiful garden area and pool. Also, right across the street from a top notch restaurant, and it was easy to catch a taxi right outside the front door. A lovely custodian is also always on hand to let you in and out of the property. It was nice to have a private apartment to come home to as well. Highly recommended for a lovely stay in Cartagena.

A fantastic apartment

This was a beautiful apartment, very clean, bright, and modern. The photos are exactly how the apartment looks. Excellent hot water and air conditioning. Al, the owner, was very responsive to any of our questions. The location is fantastic!! Right in the old city of Cartagena, you walk out the door and you’re right in the midst of everything. And because of the location of the apartment in the building you hear no noise! We would absolutely stay again! A real find!
