This was a terrible experience staying here. Before checking in, I upgraded my room to the Junior Suite. However, since i was coming in a day later I added my friend name to the reservation & when she checked-in, the room they gave us was small as a shoe box. It was EXTREMELY small!!! I messaged the hotel on WhatsApp about the matter & was told I would get switched to the correct room in the morning but when I went to the front desk in the morning I was told they didn’t that room available. Long story short, what I was being told over WhatsApp and what the reception told me was always different things. I provided screenshots of my booking and everything. We did not get moved into the proper room until our last night staying there. The receptionist had a very bad attitude and was not helpful.. Also the walls are son thin I constantly heard the person in the room next to us on the phone having casual conversation.

There’s plenty of eateries and shopping all around. Money exchanges and the beach is a walk across the street. The only negative is there’s rampant beggars and peddlers trying to sell stuff or asking for money. It’s cool to help but it gets to be much when you just want to enjoy the views from the patio.

Great Hotel in Cartagena

We had a great time at the OZ Hotel. We were initially booked for Oz Hotel Luxury, but we were upgraded to a larger room and bed and at the OZ Hotel. Every morning we were provided with a great breakfast buffet and a very attentive staff. The staff is excellent at the hotel, and we received beyond excellent service each day. The hotel is in a great location with great restaurants around.

Good service. Poor room quality

Well I complained about the room initially because it was supposed to be an upgrade to a junior suite. I upgraded to a slightly bigger room but it was not the size of any junior suite. Essentially it was a standard room but the room amenities were good. Air quality was poor and I had complained twice without any resolution so I got frustrated and dealt with the issue. There was a clear odor of mold in the room. Room 113.

Loved everything about the service, only problems were there was practically no hot water. After a long day of walking or being out in the town, we never could get a hot shower. We would let the shower run for 5 minutes like they said but it never got hot, not even luke warm. We also had a leak under the bathroom sink that they would fix but then the leak would return and water would be all over the floor when we'd wake up in the morning.

Perfect location! Colombian and American dining facilities were nearby. Local markets and a sipping mall were nearby. The beach was 2 blocks away and beautiful. The hotel was perfect, accept there wasn’t a ton of hot water. However, when I return to Colombia, I will stay here again.

First time here highly recommend

Great hotel situated a 5 minute walk from bocagrande beach Decent size room with big beds Good wifi Lovely hot shower ( not always the case in south america) No pool but their sister hotel has a lovely Terrace area to relax after a days activities in cartagena Breakfast fairly basic but adequate Hotel is guest friendly Special mention to the lovely Maria , wonderful Andrea & Beautiful Sheyla who all spoke great english
