"This was a last minute rental for us due to a cancellation at our chosen property because of a power outage. The positives of the home are the parking, the home is situated directly on the ocean with a small pool also oceanfront, The air conditioners work really well and the showers have lots of hot water. However the pictures do not adequately represent the condition of the home. Unfortunately there has been very little upkeep in the maintenance. Many of the windows are unable to close completely allowing for bugs to crawl and fly in, the front door has two inch gaps around the entire jam also allowing for bugs to come in. There are no screens for any of the doors or windows if you would just like fresh air without the airconditioning. There are roaches in the kitchen that come out at night and mini ants crawling all over the counters. The beds are like sleeping on concrete and sheets have stains all over them one even had a footprint, we were convinced we were sleeping on box springs with eggcrate foam on top. The beds were only made with a thread bare sheet the first night, we had to use our towels as blankets. Thank god they brought us each a light blanket the second night. The few bathroom towels provided which was one per person for the entire week stay were stained, scratchy and dingy. The bathrooms are filthy, lots of soap scum and black mildew, you have to beg for toilet paper. The couch no longer has any cushion left, you actually feel the frame. "
