Once the home of travelling priests 1000 years ago, Pretaccione has been sympathetically restored into individually owned holiday homes, preserving its charm with original features. The small collection of cottages and apartments each have their own furnished outdoor space where you can dine al fresco or sit back with a glass of Chianti from the Dievole vineyard below you and enjoy the south facing views of the Tuscan hills and valley beyond.



After a match on the resort's private tennis court, while relaxing in the sun by the pool, you might dream up some day trips to the cultural delights of Siena and Florence or jaunts to the local villages of Lecchi and San Sano within 4 km, where both have a family run restaurant and bar/wine shop. Pretaccione is a walker's paradise. Right on your doorstep is the Dievole Natural Path, 27 km of marked woodland walking and cycling trails that wind their way through this impressive winery estate. All trails lead to the Dievole wine tasting cellar and open terraced restaurant.
