The Dievole Nature Path provides an atmospheric route through historic farm roads for walkers, cyclists, or riders. The village of Vagliagli, four kilometers distant, has a good restaurant, and Gaiole in Chiant which is just twenty minutes away offers shops, eateries, and a small supermarket. Castellina and Castelnuovo Berardenga are also close by. A stop at the Gelateria di Castellina is highly recommended, as is a stroll to the nearby Parco Sculture del Chianti. Siena is around a 30-minute drive, with Florence, Arezzo, and San Gimignano ideal for day trips.
