We found the room to be very noisy with the creaking of the floor upstairs and people honking their horns outside. Then we discovered that the bathtub was backing up, so we didn’t shower for two days because it was so disgusting. We just wanted to get out of there and we were visiting for a memorial and didn’t want any extra problems, so we didn’t say anything. We just won’t be back.

We had to leave a $200 damage deposit. I felt it was expensive for castlegar. Breakfast was nice. Strangest thing of all was signing a wa wavor for no open liquor on the property.

The room was very spacious and clean except for hand and fingerprints all over the windows. Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast area was very clean and well stocked at all times and they did not make you feel rushed to leave when breakfast was over. We enjoyed that coffee and tea was available in the lobby at all times.

It was a last minute booking and we received a nice room on the back of the hotel that was clean , had good amenities and was spacious. The furniture and carpet were a little rundown and could generally use a refresh but all in all a very pleasant stay.

Loud drainage pipes in walls next to bed, unsatisfactory housekeeping for extended stay( sheets and towels not changed in a 5 night stay) . Mini fridge so packed with ice did not freeze our ice cream, outside our room dirty and not cleaned up during our stay. Won’t be coming back!

Clean bathroom, dirty floors

The room was okay. The decorations were modern and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but the room floors were filthy. It was clear that no one has mopped them for a while. The floors felt gritty and my bare feet were black after 10 mins of walking around. I ended up putting on socks and my husband opted to walk around in shoes.
