Wonderful breakfast

Pros: breakfast, views and location

Cons: no, all was great

Location: location is perfect for all the attractions

I have to say the breakfast really got me:) it is served on a terrace with great views. Food was delicious and service was very attentive. The hotel itself was very pleasant, clean rooms and comfortable bed.

Whaaat a surprise...

Location: The location is beautiful and there are many things to do.

I always hope that the photos of a hotel published on a website present the reality. In case of Hotel Royal it was not the case. The photos had nothing to do with what we found. This hotel can offer you only 2 things: perfect location in the city center and parking (that is quite expensive anyway, costs about 40% of the price of the accommodation per person). The staff is really helpful and they have done their best to make our stay convenient. But their kindness doesn't really compensate the conditions... The smell of humidity punched into our face when we entered the room. The Rom was dark that is not a great surprise if we consider that the only window openes to a balcony with no view. Walls were around and the light can in only from above. The bed and the mat was terribly inconvenient. No douvet or blanket was provided ( only a sheet) in November without any heating. The bathroom worth a few words as well: I would never use that bathtub old, dirty and limescale everywhere. The breakfast -this is what I will never understand... how is it possible to provide a breakfast of so low quality in a country/ city where you can have a perfect cappuccino with cornetto in any bar... even the cappuccino was terrible... I do not recommend this hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum Catanias. In der Umgebung sind sehr viele leckere Restaurants und die Stadt ist bequem per Fuß zu erkunden.
