Very large rooms with period floors and ceilings. Small terrace at level. A stone's throw from the old city and the modern one, located in a parallel street of Via Umberto, a street full of shops and bars of all kinds that in the evening give life to the "movida catanese".

"Wilkommen in den 60ern"

Die Wohnung ist riesig und eigentlich sehr schön. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist optimal. Mit ein wenig Aufwand und ein paar (kleinen) Investitionen könnte sie ein echtes Juwel werden. So sollte der Vermieter unbedingt alle Spuren der ehemaligen Besitzerin beseitigen (in den Schubladen und Schränken liegen noch teils ungeöffnete Briefe, Dokumente, Wäschestücke, medizinische Geräte etc.). Im Bereich Investitionen fehlt z.B. ein Kompressor, um einen nenneswerten Wasserdruck zu erzeugen (aktuell plätschert aus den Wasserhahnen ein dünnes Rinnsal), ebenso wären Klima-Anlagen in allen Zimmern ein deutliches Plus. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation läuft auf Italienisch gut. Die Sauberkeit des Objekts ist ausbaufähig (ganze Haarbüschel im Ausguss der Dusche...). Wer nur wenige Tage in Catania verbringt, findet hier zu optimalen Konditionen und in relativ zentraler Lage einen guten Ausgangspunkt für viele Exkursionen.
