Step back in time into the historic charm of the Chapel of Camp Rip Van Winkle, a summer camp established in 1920 by the Cowhey sisters. This Catskills retreat blends old time campy nostalgia with modern amenities. Relax with a glass of wine in the screened-in porch or on the deck, watching hummingbirds and listening to the sounds of Kaaterskill Creek and nearby waterfalls. Enjoy quiet strolls along picturesque roads, your own outdoor shower, and the peaceful sounds of rain on a tin roof. Our space is a “studio” space with a trundle twin bed as soon as you enter, a queen pullout sofa, and comfortable king bed. We provide a guest welcome guide upon booking.
