Summary:

Welcome to our home! With plenty of space to sleep up to 15 people comfortably, everyone can enjoy their own privacy. Especially with 9 bathrooms too!



The house itself has all the amenities you need. Relax at night in your private hot tub or gather around a crackling fire pit for s’mores and stories. Stretch out after a long day in our yoga room Plus, we have extras like board games and books so you can really make yourself at home here!



5-10 Minutes from Okemo and mountain fun!



The Space:

When you stay in our 200 year old 6600sf home, you are helping to create our story and the story of this home.



While we are working diligently to update the home, we are doing to in a period specific manner

and not turning this piece of history into a modern box.



On your stay come enjoy the warmth and comfort that was built 200 years ago. You will find original plaster walls, history hiding in secret stair cases, and quiet corners to relax throughout the home. Not to mention the hot tub - jacuzzi / yoga room / fire pit and more!



You are sure to enjoy our home and we look forward to your return season after season.



Guest Access:

When you arrive at our home, you will have full access to almost the entire house. On the main living floor there is one rear porch that is locked and on the third floor where you will find the yoga room, there are three bedrooms that are locked. These spaces are private areas for us and our families.



The Neighborhood:

Located on a main RT through VT allowing easy year round access to the property. Walking distance to town green, restaurants and local brewery.



Getting Around:

parking on property is free and open - walk around and explore the center of a small VT town. A small town green is a two minute walk away where you will also find a brewery and a restaurant.



Other Things to Note:

No open flame in the house, this includes the fire place and stove. Insurance does not alone any flames inside at all. Please pick up after your pets and do not allow them to use the inside of their home as their bathrooms. Also note, any pets are to be kept in their crates when home alone as animals tend to be very nervous alone and may want to chew. Please do not allow pets on furniture as additional cleaning fees will apply. Any damages or additional cleaning fees due to animals will be charged.



Interaction with Guests:

We are available for all of your questions / thoughts / concerns during your stay but we will give guests space.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be close to Okemo Mountain Resort. A hot tub, laundry facilities, and an arcade/game room are available. The vacation home offers free WiFi and a kitchen.

The house was very suitable for our large family and the amenities were great. The host was very informative and responsive to any questions. The location relative to surrounding towns/events, amenities was great. The only item that was less than excellent was the proximity to a moderately busy road. But the other side of that point is that the house was just across from a very convenient and well-stocked General Store.

Great spot

House was just as described - old and creaky, some rooms too hot and others cold, but endlessly charming, roomy, historic and perfectly located across from the market and so close to Okemo. Almost everyone in our large group had their own bathroom. The long table fit us all for dinner and games. The hosts were very responsive. It was great!

Perfect ski getaway

We just spent a lovely long weekend in the perfect home and location for our large group while we skied Okemo. The home is spacious, the amenities are plentiful and the kitchen is well appointed. The owners are communicative and extremely gracious. I highly recommend this property!

Great house. Close to the mountain. Amazing hot tub.

Great hosts, everything was as expected except that the back door yard is not fenced in. There is a privacy fence to protect the hot tub, but there is no way to let the dogs there off leash.
