If that wasn't enough, the property also has a boat house with a swim deck for fishing and sun bathing on the lake. Bring your boat and conveniently use the boat house to keep your boat safe when not in use. The neighborhood also has a convenient private boat ramp, a short walk away from the property.

This vacation home is fully furnished and can accommodate 12 people (8 adults, 4 kids) comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms, a loft, 2.5 bathrooms and a laundry room. The large kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including all necessities for cooking. The master bedroom, which opens to the deck, has a king size bed, the second and third bedrooms have queen size beds. The futon makes into a small full size bed, there are two twin mattresses on a trundle bed and a twin bed in the loft. A queen size air mattress can be put out for larger groups. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace on cool nights as you look out the expansive walls of glass onto the lake from the living room.

An easy hour's drive from downtown Dallas and just south of Gun Barrel City, the house is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants. Canton's First Monday Trade Days (Held on the weekend prior to the first Monday of every month) is only a 30 minute drive and filled with fantastic flea market finds.
