"Halcyon Days" (Glory days) brings you the perfect getaway on the doorstep of the Hunter Valley.
The cottage is perfect for families, groups of friends and is animal friendly
Enjoy an afternoon drink on the large undercover deck. Pick your own oranges and mandarins from the fruit trees. Play a game of cricket on the lawn while the BBQ is cooking. It doesn't get any better than this.
Pack your bags and move in for a few "Halcyon Days" Enjoy a lazy Sunday Morning with a late check out of 2pm.
The space
Halcyon Days is 2 min drive from the main street of Cessnock and only 10 min from the vineyards, located in a lovely quiet street away from the main road. The garden is completely fenced off making it a safe place for children to play and dogs to roam.
The cottage is freshly painted and you have access to the entire house and yard. The garden has multiple fruit trees to pick your own oranges, mandarins, lemons and mangos (seasonal of course). The garden also has a wonderful designated fire pit to enjoy on those winter nights. Or hang out on our retro refurbished cane outdoor setting whilst enjoying the sunset and a glass of wine on the huge undercover outdoor deck.
The house consists of a country style kitchen where you can cook your heart out and enjoy a meal in the open plan dining room. The kitchen has all the utensils and equipment you need if you choose to eat in.
Halcyon days has 4 spacious bedrooms with high ceilings. 3 bedrooms have queen beds and 1 bedroom is set up with a bunk bed. The main bedroom is completed with ensuite and walk in robe, the main bathroom is located off the kitchen. A complete laundry is available with washing machine, dryer and ironing board.
Guest access
Guests have access to the complete house accept for the seperate studio located in the garden.

Please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum and music is turned down at 10 pm. Please respect our neighbours and keep everyone happy.
