The Red Rock Lodge was a good choice for us, including its location, since it was centrally located to destinations we visited nearby. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. My wife and I both thought it was a good value.

Can't put my finger on it...kind of a weird entry way, but I think it was renovated from an assisted living facility (if what the locals said is accurate). Bathroom really large, full fridge, microwave, little electric burner, coffee, beds a little hard but that's all about personal preference. Parking was easy; has it's own little parking lot right in the front area. I would stay there again; nicest hotel in Challis for sure.

Very clean property with large rooms and hospitable staff. The only complaint is noise. You can hear everything from the hall and adjoining rooms. I will say this is the best option in Challias ID. All the other accommodations are danky old motels that look like they rent for the hour.

Spacious rooms with kitchenettes

The beds were firm, but everything else was great. They called me to see how late my checkin would be, and I made it before they resulted to a lockbox. Staff was super friendly, and the room was spacious with a kitchenette. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a very unique style hotel….looks more like a large home. Loved the large bathroom with walk in shower. Lovely room. Unfortunately the a/c was quite loud & units were right outside our room making our sleep require “help aids”. The area was very quiet & private.
