Escape to the mountains in this stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet apartment for 7! Built in a traditional style, but elegantly contemporary, it makes a fabulous holiday base for family or friends at any time of year.

Located on the Route de Plagnolet, in the centre of Argentiere, the chalet has parking for 3 cars, although a car is not necessary. The Chalet is ideally positioned being an 8 minute walk from the Grand Montets and Chosalets ski area; Argentiere railway station (4 minutes walk); Bus (2minutes walk); bars, restaurants and supermarkets all a few minutes walk.

The main living area is positioned on the first floor to take advantage of the view of the Grand Montets ski area. The open-plan living area has high wooden eaves and large windows making it airy and full of light. The seating area is furnished with 2 chic leather sofas, a wood-burning stove, a flat-screen TV and a large wooden dining table and chairs for 7 people.

The exceptional modern kitchen is adjacent to the living area. It is beautifully laid out with sleek modern units and fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer, making catering a breeze. There are fondue and raclette sets allowing for a traditional cosy alpine night at home.

In addition to the main living area there is a cosy snug area with a futon where children can relax and watch TV.

The spacious garden has a seating area, plus a BBQ for meals in the fresh mountain air. It is only for guests\' use, however, the residents in the basement need access through the garden.

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom is on the first floor with French windows opening onto a small balcony. It is beautifully furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm) which can also be made up into 2 singles; large wardrobe. Views of the Grand Montets Massif.
Bedroom 2: A sunny corner bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm), which can also be made up into 2 singles; wardrobe. There is a third pull-out single bed available.

Location
The apartment is in an ideal location in Argentière, just an 8-minute walk from the Grands Montets cable car. The slopes around Argentiere are suitable for all levels of skiiers. Some of the higher slopes around Argentière offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. Les Chosalets (2minute drive) is ideal for beginners and children wishing to learn to ski. The Panda Club at Grands Montets is ideal for skiing lessons in the winter months and fun activities for the rest of the year.

Argentière, a lively town in the Chamonix Valley during both the winter and summer seasons, is part of the Grands Montets ski area. It is especially popular among tourists for its skiing slopes, magical views and the traditional architecture of its monuments and churches. At the chalet’s central location is the town center, shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning.

The Chamonix valley is known for offering a wealth of ski and winter pursuits. It is also a buzzing resort center with a weekly local food market and plenty of shops. Choose from a wide selection of acclaimed restaurants serving international cuisine, brasseries, cafes and wine bars. Those looking to enjoy a lively evening will be spoilt for choice with a plethora of bars and live music venues along with nightclubs, lounge bars and microbreweries. In the summertime, the Chamonix valley becomes a paradise for those interested in hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, riding, adventure parks, paragliding, water sports, fishing and golf. The tree-top climbing Accro Adventure Park and rock climbing crag in Lac des Gaillands are both 15 minutes’ drive away.

Argentière railway station (4-minute walk) is on the Vallee Mont Blanc line and offers a regular service to Chamonix and the rest of the Mont Blanc region. Geneva airport is 1 hour 30 minutes drive.
