The facilities and accommodation are as expected for a 3 star hotel, however the friendliness and hospitality rivals a 5 star. The staff are dedicated and will above and beyond to ensure the guests have everything they need for a great stay.
The city centre location of the hotel is perfect for both convenience of shops and restaurants as well as walking distance to both gondolas in Chamonix.
Our room had incredible views of the mountains and lovely sound of the river flowing past.
Highly recommend.
Had a single room during winter & ski season.
Clean tiny room but my top floor east facing room #46 had incredible views of the mountains and Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi when it was not cloudy
The room had an equally tiny balcony with chair which would be fabulous in warmer weather.
Heat was good.
Bathroom was nice with a rainfall shower plus a handheld and an appreciated temperature control although at times the water took an incredibly long time to heat up (minutes!) but once it warmed up it stayed constant duty temperature control.
Bed was comfortable enough
Nice to have a wardrobe into which the chair was stored
The safe was appreciated although it was very small, good enough to store your passport and a pocketbook
There was a small refrigerator with a few beers, ice teas, water and soda priced between 2.50 - 2.70 euros.
The wifi internet was great until it stopped working and the reception did not attempt to fix it or look into it.
Breakfast was good with mini viennoiseries (croissants and pain au chocolat) ; a variety of breads; a couple of cheeses and meats; fromage blanc. yogurt and fresh and canned fruits; muesli , corn flakes etc; coffee machine with a variety of choices and juices
Breakfast was eaten in the hotel's ground floor Irish pub
Location was great, just 2 short streets grim the pedestrian only commercial zone. The hotel was situated next to the Arve river and it is possible to have rubber views while having breakfast

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Centrally located and ready to get anywhere in Chamonix.
The place was in close walking distance to the bus and to the city center. The rushing creek ran along side my room. It was very calming. The breakfast was fine but the breakfast room was really lovely!
The staff especially Alex and his afternoon associate were quite helpful. They even printed my bus tickets and allowed us to stay a little later so we could be out of the rain while waiting for our bus departure. They honored our request for a room with a view and boy did they deliver! It would be nice to have coffee in the room. 😀
The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved that the river is so close that the sound puts you to sleep. The hotel is super convenient and close to everything!
Very cute hotel with that classic European charm. Very short walk away from the center of Chamonix with everything you would really need or want in great radius of the hotel.
