Explore the Vendée countryside during your stay in this gîte, located 7 km from the village of Chantonnay. Surrounded by a forest, perched atop the hills and close to hiking trails, you'll also have the opportunity to visit the Natur'Zoo in Mervent (33 km), discover the famous Puy du Fou theme park, or enjoy the water slides at O'Gliss Park (48 km). The coastline also offers its treasures at Aiguillon-la-Presqu'île (52 km), La Rochelle (65 km), and Les Sables d'Olonne (76 km). On the ground floor, this house offers a living/dining/kitchen area and a shower room/WC (accessed via two steps). On the slightly sloping attic floor (minimum ceiling height: 1.50m), you will find one bedroom with four single beds (80cm) that can be joined together, one bedroom with two single beds (80cm) that can also be joined together, and a shower room/WC. You will have access to an enclosed garden with a gravel terrace, garden furniture, a barbecue, and sun loungers, where you can observe goats, sheep, chickens, and a pony living in the field opposite the cottage.

The house is located very close to the owners' residence. A working farm (ducks) is 500m away.

Coming from Chantonnay, take the D31 towards Saint-Philbert du Pont Charrault for 5 km. Turn right at the first intersection after crossing Le Lay. Take the third right, continue along the road, then turn right towards La Roussière. The gîte is at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Please note: Some GPS systems may direct you via the D137. This route will take you along narrow tracks and a ford that may be difficult to cross depending on the season. The route via the D31 is entirely accessible by car.

This cottage offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
