Retired winegrower, Martine welcomes you to an authentic traditional 19th century residence, fully restored, steeped in history (former "farmhouse"), nestled on the edge of a lane in the heart of a peaceful winegrowing hamlet full of charm & perfectly preserved, surrounded by vines, located 3 km from the typical village of Chardonnay, historic cradle of the legendary eponymous grape variety known worldwide (elegant listed 12th century Romanesque church, 12th century manor house, former tithe of the Benedictine monks of the Saint-Philibert de Tournus abbey, Neolithic dolmen "legendary stone" listed as a Historic Monument, etc.). Peace and quiet in the rolling countryside of the upper Mâconnais (protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), nestled on an exposed plateau in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyards, meadows, and forests, on the foothills of the South Burgundy massif (a vast wilderness dotted with marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails for all levels, offering splendid panoramic viewpoints as far as Mont Blanc on a clear day!).
