The bathroom condition was very poor. Toilet was loose. Tub had mold. Tiles needed new grout. Window covers were not able to block the outside lights.

Our room smelled of smoke and weed. The ac unit did not work. Tried to take a shower and barely a trickle of water came out. Told this to the front desk and all I got was oh how unfortunate I’ll let someone know.

The dock was a lovely backdrop to the Inn. While it’s an older motel, it doesn’t feel like it with some of the updates done to the place. I will say the breakfast had very little options or variety, but I’m not here for the breakfast in the city of Charleston and you can’t complain too much since it’s complimentary. Rooms were adequate and beds were one of the updates, they were quite cozy for a motel. Bathrooms were clean but on the smaller side. Staff was always friendly and helpful when we entered the lobby.

Marsh view

The view of the marsh was nice. Didn’t totally feel like I was in the city. The pool was small but nice. The free breakfast was typical but nice. Saw no gators or snakes.
