There is NO room service, limited dining. Weather was bad, and we were forced to go out because the ONLY dining room was rented out for a Christmas party. We expected to find everything we would need at such a nice hotel, but alas ..not. Our room was very pretty, but so small you couldn’t pass each other….and this was supposed to be a king deluxe. A party going on down below kept us awake a lot of the night…and we were on the 7th floor. I don’t mind paying 300.00+ per night, but I expect a lot more than this for the price

The hotel is nice, the staff is very good. I had 2 problems in our stay: 1) a dog was barking for 4 hours near our room 2) I have bites on my legs and arms since I slept there.

Staff and room were great! Restaurant was weird about sitting outside. One night we could only sit at the large corner tables because the others were reserved for dinner service, but no one was there or sitting outside. Another evening it had rained earlier and the staff let us sit outside, but wouldn’t wipe off the table because they weren’t serving outside.

Wonderful and clean hotel. Rooms are appointed nicely with comfortable beds. Great location in downtown Charleston. All of the staff were personable and very helpful.
