Tranquil farmhouse with sea view, dog friendly
"Words are beyond our wonderful experience at Bawley Ridge Farmhouse. Bill’s warm and friendly greeting upon arrival at The Farmhouse was just the beginning of a fabulous 24 hour stay. The fire had already been lit and the cosy atmosphere was established from the onset. After a late afternoon walk we came back to find at the front door, a basket of freshly baked bread, local honey, butter, fresh eggs from the resident chooks and a lovely bottle of wine. The outdoor bath was put to use and enjoyed by all. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped with everything a home cook would ever need. A vast array of cookbooks could provide plenty of inspiration. The beds were comfy with the added luxury of electric blankets. Bill and Cam obligingly made up twin beds for our 2 adult children. Was so lovely to have quality linen and towels provided. Bill and Cam generously agreed to early check in and late check out. Felt very grateful for no minimum night stay and being able to just spend one night although we all wanted to stay longer and were loathe to leave. The ocean view from the verandah was glorious. Next time will take advantage of the chiminea. Was lovely to meet Cam the next day and chat to both Bill and Cam before we left. Communications were easy, friendly and questions quickly responded to. Arrival and departure procedures were a breeze. I highly recommend staying at Bawley Ridge Farm and Cottage. Thank you so much Bill and Cam."
