Uptown Museums/Restaurants/Bars (20 Min.), Concord Mills Mall/Premium Outlet Mall, Charlotte Motor Speedway (30 Min.) NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ARE ALLOWED.

Main Level features Living Room, Bedroom, Full Bath and Kitchen with Refrigerator, Range/Oven, Microwave, Keurig Coffee Maker (coffee supplied), All Utensils (Dishes, Glasses, Silverware, Pots and Pans), Washer/Dryer.
Upper Level includes Master Bedroom with walkout deck over looking the river. Second Bedroom, Full Bath, Work Station, Coffee/Beverage Bar with Keurig Coffee maker.
Amazing Views of Catawba River from multiple vantage points including from both the upper and lower decks of The Cottage.
Lower, Covered/Lighted Patio Space with dining/socializing table, charcoal grill.

Need more space? There is an adjoining 2 bedroom Airbnb on the same property. Just ask Mike for more information.
Guest have access to all areas on the grounds including Waterfront Pier and Dock, Disc Golf Basket, Waterfront Fire Pit and Select Kayaks/Paddles (user assumes all risk and agrees to provide own PDF - Personal Flotation Device/Life Preserver).

Guest Access:
A push button key pad is located on the front door. to light up the key pad touch the bottom left corner and it will light up
then put your code in. Please let the lock open fully before trying to open the door. You should receive your code 48 hours before
check in. If you don't receive a code please let me know.

Getting Around:
5 to 10 minutes to Historic Downtown Belmont and Wilkinson Blvd. restaurants and big box stores. 10 minutes to Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

The property its self was beautiful. The view of the lake from outside of the cottage was amazing. However, the reason I couldn’t fully enjoy the visit was due to the filthy conditions of the inside of the cottage. The floors turned our feet black from dirt, and the children’s pants black. The house smelled terrible!! Smelled like someone had smoked and stain the walls in weed. The vacuum had cobwebs on it. Dust and dirt everywhere. I spent hours cleaning just so my children could play. We had to purchase cleaner and air fresheners. But mostly the smell was the biggest turn off. Please do better. The kayaking and lake were one of the best parts!

Amazing time on the river!

This was the perfect location for my family to congregate for Thanksgiving!!! It is so peaceful being by the river. The accommodations were clean, close to the highway and restaurants/stores. Thanks for making our holiday special and would definitely book again when in the area!

Great Location for Our Needs

The property was 10 minutes away from the US Whitewater Center that we were attending for Swiftwater training. It provided us everything we needed for the week. The owner was very responsive and easy to get in contact with.

Quick family visit

We really enjoyed this quaint house! It was beautiful and clean. The owner was great to work with. We asked for extra towels and he drove over with them. The fire pit and the little island were big hits with the kiddos! I would love to stay here again!

Serenity I needed

Was not able to enjoy the cabin although the beds were very comfortable & the shower had nice pressure. Very spacious & loved that my friend had the upstairs so I had my rest time after a long stressful journey. Missed the sunset at 4:30 although was informed by neighbors it's a site to see! Close to Charlotte, pretty much a straight shot. Nice neighborhood. Nice neighbors! Mike was awesome!! Will rent with him again if the need arises. Was there for grandblessing birthday at American Girl which is a nice & clean mall.

Great, quiet location close to Charlotte without being in the city (although the sounds of I-85 and airport traffic remind you of the nearness of Charlotte)! The house is nicely laid out, decorated, and stocked with all we needed making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Great for All Ages

Clean facilities with very comfortable beds (we're kind of picky about the beds.) There were several fun games for the kids (ages 10 &12), as well as relaxing areas for the adults. Our 10 yr old boy liked that he caught several fish! (Bring your own pole though.) We used the kayaks which were equipped with life vests, and the fire pit. We liked the convenience to downtown Belmont for store runs. Lots of deer tracks by the water, but we didn't see any deer. There is no dining table per se, but there is a 2 person breakfast bar, TV trays, and an outdoor table which suited us fine. Laundry facilities on site were useful too. Great value! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Convenient to Charlotte nice river view

We come to visit my son in Charlotte every year. We have stayed at many different VRBO locations over the years, and this was one is one of the nicest! Very clean and is well stocked. The house has a nice decor and comfortable cozy feeling to it. The owner even included chocolates and k-cup pods to make you feel at home! It is very relaxing place. We enjoyed the deck off the upstairs bedroom to sit and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels. We spent time by the river just enjoying the view. We ate at 2 very nice places in Belmont which is close by at Nellie's and Jekyll and Hyde. Nellies an upscale comfort food restaurant. Jekyll and Hyde a restaurant/bar with a steam punk vibe and their own brewery. We spent another day in Charlotte which is very close as well. You can't go wrong on this one! Thanks for offering such an enjoyable place to stay!
