The hotel was in a good location with restaurants and the mall close by; however, the hotel smelled like cigarettes as soon as you walked in. My non-smoking room also smelled like cigarettes. The guy that initially checked me in at the front desk seemed like he couldn't have cared less about his job and definitely didn't have the sense of hospitality I feel that you should have when checking into a hotel. My room was missing a shower curtain and the microwave did not work. This hotel could definitely benefit from some upgrading and a good deep clean to get out the smell of cigarettes that seems to permeate through the whole building and rooms.

Booked this hotel due to its 8.4 rating on Expedia. Arrived at 10pm expecting a smoke free room. Room clearly had been smoked in, front desk said there were no other rooms and gave us some air freshener. Went to make the pullout bed, and there were no linens and the mattress was filthy. Would never recommend staying at this hotel.

We only stayed 1 night. The room was booked because it had a sleeper sofa so my kids could have their own space. However, when I pulled out the bed part of the sofa it was full of dirt, crumbs, and stains. Also, there was not any bedding for it. The sheets on both of the beds had pet or human hair on them even though the first apperance of the beds were nicely made. I asked the desk for clean sheets and was given the wrong size and the also had hair on them. The room also smelled very musty. Breakfast was not stocked and the juice machine was broken. However the biscuits and gravy were good. The location was good. Not far from the I-485 Blue Link Station to take you into the city for a football game, basketball game, concert, or to hang out downtown Charlotte.

I am not that picky of a traveler but this place was not what I expected at all. Bathroom was awful - extremely low toilets and seat was askew and ready to fall off. Shower wall with faucets looked like it was ready to pop off. Hair dryer didn’t work nor did phone to call front desk. Went down and they had no hair dryers . Also no extra blankets or pillows. Was definitely not a place I would stay at again

We would come back. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly. One of the staff went over and beyond to help us. The alarm went off due to someone burning something, at least we know their fire alarm works. The only thing I do recommend is updating the property. Our toilet really needs to be updated, rust all over the bolts on the seat, and the tub needs to be painted.

Room is neat but kind of smelly when we enter. Door dead bolt is broken and also after we close the door and push it from outside its opening. Saw good reviews in expedia and booked this hotel. Too expensive for the money paid.
