Welcome to my favorite property for groups and families: Luxury in the City (Charlotte Vacation Rental). This stunning mansion features 8 large bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms right in the heart of Charlotte. This home is the largest one on its street and the neighborhood is extremely quiet so we ask that guests respect this at all times.

This home is perfect for families looking for a safe staycation, companies looking for a creative retreat or meeting space, or weddings needing accommodations for the bridal party. Handicap accessibility is available by a portable ramp (located in the garage) and use of the in-home elevator. Bedrooms do not have televisions to encourage fellowship in the main areas of the home. The main floor living room, master bedroom, gym, and home theatre have smart televisions with access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Roku, etc. Guests can use personal logins for premium channels and other VOD services. The Movie Theatre has a double-sided whiteboard, laptop stand, and HDMI/Airplay connections to display presentations for our corporate clients.

There are two full kitchens in this home as well as a main floor living area, a downstairs game/lounge room, a home theatre, and a gym room. All bedrooms have a private/ensuite bathroom except for the 3 Queen bonus room. This room will share the hallway bathroom with the upstairs King room. The master bedroom has an attached room for small kids (twin bunks) and the upstairs navy queen room has an attached infant room with a pack-n-play and baby mattress. There is also a toddler bed that's available in the home as well. Additional Baby Furniture (stroller, high chairs, car seats, etc.) should be brought with you or rented through BabyQuip or BabyGear.

The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, coffee makers, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Everything you need to make meals for your group. The gym room has a TV, treadmill, free weights, yoga mats, exercise balls, and resistance bands. Cleaning supplies and sanitizers are provided for each group as well.

The Pool is a 16ft x 32ft vinyl lining unheated inground pool with a large concrete patio surrounding it. The pool is open from May 1 to end of October. It cannot be opened early or extended late for anyone or any reason. It is not heated. Pool is cleaned twice weekly during the Summer (Tuesday and Friday). There is a hot tub that's open year-round and it is heated. It is cleaned twice weekly during the summer and once weekly during the off-season/winter months but not during inclement weather (hurricane, storm, ice, snow, etc.) The fenced backyard also has a gas grill, gas firepit, and cornhole. There is grass around the fence in the backyard.

Anything exceeding the sleeping capacity of the home, sending invitations, renting tables/chairs, setting up speakers, etc. are all parts of an event. We can recommend event venues for your event needs because this home can only be used for accommodations. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and we ask that guests respect that at all times. Unfortunately, we do cannot take bookings for small events or meetings on VRBO or Airbnb.

We prefer to have at least 24 hours between rentals but understand that demand doesn't always make that possible. Please read our disclaimer about booking same-day flips. If you choose to book on the same day as someone checking out, please read the info above about it.

All linens and towels are cleaned and rotated with fresh sets in between rentals. Beds are made and clean towels are provided upon arrival. Personal toiletries are not provided.

Exterior cameras are located on this property for security purposes. There are no cameras located inside. The home is on keyless entry and has contact-free check-in. We use GetDuve for online check-in and guest ID verification prior to providing check-in instructions. A floorplan is available to guests upon request or at the time of booking (in the confirmation email).

All groups will require damage insurance + deposit ($500 pre-authorization) for reservations. The damage deposit is automatically refunded as long as there is no damage or missing items. There's an additional fee for large groups. The minimum age to rent is 25. Guest ID is verified prior to check-in.

Best Family Trip EVER!

The Charlotte Vacation Rental has everything that you could possibly want in a vacation. The house was wonderfully decorated with tasteful and comfortable furnishings. I was sad to go back to my own bed. We had a list to go to places in Charlotte, but no one wanted to get out of the pool or turn of the movie or interrupt their pool game. We never left the property! The youngest guest was 14 months old. The oldest was in the 70s. Everyone had a great time. Usually we go to different locations, but next year we are coming back!

Wonderful Stay

Our group of 14 (13 adults and 1 child) had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. The house was very clean. The layout was perfect for our needs, with a master king and a double queen bedroom on the first floor. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi sauna. One note with the beautiful large master bathroom was, the two-person shower was not enclosed.On the second floor was one king bedroom and three queen bedrooms (two queens in each room) with bathrooms attached to each.There was also a back bedroom on the second floor with three queens. This bedroom didn't have a bathroom nearby. On the lower level, there was one bedroom with four twin bunk beds. There are three additional bathrooms on this level. We loved the theater room and the large kitchen on the main level (there’s also a second kitchen downstairs). The spacious family room was perfect for hanging out together.The location was very convenient—easy access to I-85 and just a short drive to downtown restaurants. It is located in a quiet seemingly older neighborhood. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend for large groups or families!

Great property for a large group in Charlotte

The house was super fun with all the amenities needed for a large group. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very spacious. We enjoyed the pool table, theater room and just hanging around laughing and enjoying the weekend. We had a bridal party staying with us and it was perfect due to the queen beds in the rooms for the girls. Overall, it was a great stay and wonderful communication with the property manager!!!

Perfect for bridal parties!

My husband and I booked this for our wedding weekend because it was important to us to have our entire bridal party with us all weekend. There was more than enough room to host my 6 bridesmaids + his 6 groomsmen and their spouses. The boys loved the theatre room to watch football on Saturday and Sunday and the downstairs salon area was incredible for getting ready the morning of my wedding. With two kitchens we had more than enough room for food and drinks for the weekend as well as all the leftover wedding food. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for relaxing during a stressful weekend. This house allowed us the perfect opportunity to introduce our two friend groups and spend quality time with the people we love during our wedding weekend!

The host Taylore was extremely professional. The online sight aligned with what we saw in person. The central locale of the place did make it very easy to get to places in the city. The house was awesome and very inviting, the host was easily accessible when needed. She even provided welcoming snacks for the guest which was graciously appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and absolutely a gem!

Fantastic home for a stay-cation!

13 or so of us decided to rent this location for a visit to Charlotte and had a great time. We ventured off to a few other places, but spent most of our time hanging around the house as this home was very accommodating. Our group slept in the rooms on the main floor and the 2nd floor, which was perfect in the morning because the small children and parents went downstairs to the basement to play/keep quiet from waking anyone up. The home had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and entertainment for everyone. It was the perfect layout for our group. Thanks again for letting us stay!

I highly recommend

I needed a place for 14 co-workers for a tradeshow that was close to downtown Charlette. The house was plenty big with all the amenities we could have asked for. We were able to enjoy some downtime when not at the show.

Awesome Property!

Taylore reached out to me the day of checkin to notify the property was thoroughly cleaned and we may check in well before the check in time (made me so happy and that was above and beyond what was expected). She had an excellent welcome basket waiting for us which was a very nice touch! The property was very clean and we had plenty of linens for all of our guests! Tons of cooking and cutlery and all amenities were operable and ready to go! We had an awesome time and will be booking here again with her! Beautiful home!

Air conditioner didn’t work

We had 22 people staying in this property the air conditioner didn’t work it was very hot, Not only did the air conditioner not work but there is no circulation of air whatsoever it was very stuffy. It got very hot that weekend it was in the mid 80s most of the time. I think it was the first hot weekend since summer is just starting and they haven’t service the AC units since last summer. We were managed to get one of the AC units the work nine hours before we checked out from our three day stay, but that only cooled half of the house. Sleeping was very difficult at night which made this stay very uncomfortable.

Wonderful spot for a large reunion!

A large group of friends visited in January of 2022 and this location had everything we could have ever needed! Plenty of space and some awesome amenities (we used the movie theatre room way more than we thought we would)! Upon arrival, the hot tub wasn't working, and after a quick call with the owner, maintenance was able to stop by and fix it for us! Totally would recommend this place.

It is a beautiful home and everyone enjoyed the stay and we would definitely rent it again. It has everything you would want in a home. This is not a complaint, but It does appear that it is still under rennovation/repair in certain areas. The downstairs kitchen had drawers that with tools in them and no kitchen utensils, plates, pots etc.. unlike the upstairs kitchen which was fully stocked. Coming into the neighborhood was odd as it looked like low income but the area where the house was was nice. Overall I would rent it again

Spacious House!

The house is a hidden gem! It is a great for a large group with two kitchens and the open floor plan. We had plenty of hot water for our group and the pool area was fantastic. If only we had a tv on the back deck, we might not have gone inside!
