My family & I stayed at this property for 3 nights & were extremely disappointed from the moment we arrived. On Thurs. we walked into a home that looked like it hadnt been cleaned. The ceiling fans were covered in dust, which we wiped off ourselves just to use. The air condition wasn’t working & the temp. inside the home climbed to 80. I messaged the host, who told me there were fans in the rooms & that maint. would come Fri. morn. Sleeping in that heat was miserable. To add to that, the home was poorly stocked. I was told more towels would be dropped off, but, we had to go to Family Dollar and purchase our own towels & soap. The host later said he delivered the items but these are essentials that should have been ready before guests arrived. On Fri. morn., maint. came & confirmed the AC unit was frozen. It worked briefly after a temporary fix, but by 10 that same night, it was out again. We endured a second night of heat with only fans. Maint. returned Sat. morn., confirmed the unit had frozen again, & provided a portable unit to get us through the last night. The host apologized & said the unit was only 3 months old, & that “things happen.” While I understand issues can arise, this was a major problem that affected our entire stay, & the lack of proactive support made it worse. At no point did the host offer to move us to one of his other available properties. Instead, we were offered 1 free night for a multi-day stay filled with problems, & no refund for the disruption.
