There’s always something

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The first time I did not have a good experience, but my fiancé said that we should give it another chance because maybe they had an off day and this time was even worse. Not only did we not have Internet or television access for the major majority of the day on Saturday, but we were also told two different reasons for the outage. They claimed at one time that spectrum was doing an update and the second time they said it was due to the weather. I am from Gastonia and so when I reached out to people who live close by, nobody mentioned any power outages, so I knew that they were lying. That was the first and biggest issue. My second issue was that on the morning of checkout we received a knock at the door around 10:15 AM even though checkout isn’t until 11 AM and I found that to be extremely frustrating because we are not meant to be out of the room yet so why are you knocking on the door and bothering/disturbing our peace. I said it before and I will say it again I will not be staying here again. The room is fine, the rooms are small and the bed is comfortable but again you can find better places to stay in Gastonia than here.

I felt that the room was pretty small. There was hair in our shower and in the sink. I definitely won’t be staying here again. Parking was fine but the $100 hold on a $150 room was a bit absurd as well. The staff was kind but Overall 2.5/5 on the place.

I paid for a King Bed, when I arrived @ property they didn’t tell me my room wasn’t available until I went to the room and discovered a 2 queen bedroom. That is something you say @ check in and not have me call downstairs just to say the King Beds have been sold out, unacceptable service. Ceiling in bathroom had a sizable water stain.
