I booked 2 guest rooms for November 6,2025 for my elderly parents and I to stay for 1 night. We had plane tickets to fly out of the Charlotte airport on November 7,2025. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to the government shutdown that affected flights. I had booked our stay at your property through Hotels.com and reached out to them requesting a refund for our hotel stay.
To my very strong disappointment, I received an email today informing me that your hotel had denied my request for a refund. I could understand if I canceled just because we willingly and voluntarily changed our plans, but this situation was not our choice or fault.
I hope in the future your hotel will find it in your heart to take your guests situations into consideration and do the right thing.
