The property rests in a nestled position off of a main area of the University's Medical Campus. It allows for quick access to there and to the Corner, where multiple shops are present. It is also within walking distance of the Rotunda and the lawn of UVA.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and the process of registration was straightforward. Parking was convenient if a little odd (we were on the fourth floor and there was not access from the garage to the fourth floor directly).
The main draw back to the hotel was the room itself. We opted for a king suite and the pull out bed was *very* firm. Additionally, the AC struggled to keep either of the rooms at a comfortable temperature until almost morning. Since this was late July it made for less than ideal sleeping.
Overall it was acceptable though the price might be a little higher than it should be.
