Beautiful lobby! Cozy fireplace and sitting area. Room was clean and warm. Reception greeted us warmly. Breakfast was more than the usual fare. A haven in the snowstorm! Lovely place. Would definitely stay there again.

We got caught in a snow storm and decided to stop just to be safe. This was a gem of a find. It’s like stepping into a European hotel. It was wonderful. Cozy seating areas are all around. Breakfast was on point and the guy working it was so friendly and welcomed every person to breakfast. We will come back.

Everything is clean and pleasant and the staff is always very nice. We stay at the English Inn every time we are in Charlottesville, which averages once a month. Very nice breakfast as well, and a nice treat of tea and cookies in the afternoon.
