We had 2 king roomas and they let us change to the family suite. It was very clean and in good repair. Would gladly stay there again.

I have stayed in Charlottesville in other hotels and this one is the best amongst all ! The staff is friendly, it's quiet , safe, clean. It is close to UVA, the breakfast is Wonderfull! Plenty of parking and your car is safe ! I highly recommend people to not go anywhere else if you are visiting UVA . I stayed for 2 weeks and was really exceptional! Thankyou English Inn for being so lovely and Wonderfull!

This was a great place to stay while in Charlottesville to see doctors at UVA. The lady at the front desk (Gail) was so helpful and pleasant. My husband had forgotten his cane and she loaned him one! The breakfast was very good also. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night for concert at John Paul Jones arena. Very close. Easy parking. Place could use a little updating and bathroom shower floors need replacing, but it was a quaint and pleasant hotel. NOTE...there is NO free breakfast here as advertised.

This hotel is cute! They have coffee, tea and cookies in the lobby for guests. Breakfast is a full breakfast, with eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, etc. the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
