At The 200 South Street, you can claim an entire historic inn — all 18 guest rooms, two charming buildings, elegant common spaces, and our newly reimagined outdoor pool — exclusively for you and your guests. When you book a full-property buyout, this private retreat in the heart of Charlottesville becomes entirely yours. Every room, every key, every quiet corner — all reserved for the people you've chosen to share it with.

Whether you’re planning a rehearsal dinner, wedding party, corporate retreat, or family reunion, The 200 South Street offers a one-of-a-kind private retreat in the heart of Charlottesville. When hosting an event onsite, our trusted vendor partners and onsite team are here to help ensure your event runs smoothly, so you can focus on making memories. Please note, if not hosting an event, no staff is required to be onsite.

Reservations for the exclusive use of the entire Estate may be made up to 340 days in advance with a 2 night minimum. We open reservations for individual rooms 60 days in advance. Individual rooms will have a 2 night minimum until 14 days out, within 14 days they may be booked for single nights.
