Chalet mit grossem Umschwung by Interhome

The location of this older, well-preserved chalet is in the centre of the hiking trail area, which is also popular with bikers. The distance to the village with shopping facilities, thermal baths, indoor swimming pool and bus station is 1 kilometre. The nearest mountain can be reached on foot or by cable car, it is the mountain station of Vounetz at 1630 metres. Ski lifts can be used here in winter, while in summer you can enjoy wonderful hikes with views of the Fribourg Pre-Alps.
There is also a reservoir near Charmey, the "Lac de Montsalvens". Charmey is on the way to the Jaun Pass and is the last village where people still speak mainly (but not only!) French. From the chalet you can make excursions to the hiking and skiing areas as well as cycle tours. There are several restaurants and good shopping facilities on site.
There is plenty of space around the chalet to play or relax.
Sleeping places: It has sleeping places (beds) for 4 people. A mattress can be provided for the 5th person. If babies are travelling with you: You must bring your own cot.
Other sports and leisure activities: Hiking, visit to the thermal spa with wellness, swimming in the indoor pool, excursion by cable car to 1600 metres, visit to the "Charmey Aventures" theme park halfway up. Visit to alpine huts (guided hikes in summer) Visit to the Cailler chocolate factory in the neighbouring village of Broc. Visit to the museum in Charmey (regional arts and crafts)
Excursion possibilities: See above! Excursions are possible at any time of year. Buses leave 1km from the chalet and cars can drive right up to the front of the holiday home.
