It consists of a living room with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining area (6 chairs), a lounge area with two sofas, a television, and Wi-Fi. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove and reversible air conditioning. There are two bedrooms with a queen-size bed each and one bedroom with a 140x190 bed, as well as a bathroom and toilet.
Outside, you can enjoy the private swimming pool (8x4m, 1.40m deep, salt-water, unheated) open from May to October, secured by a covered bar. There is also a pool house with a ping-pong table/garden table, darts, basketball hoop, bar, gas stove, double sink, beer tap, refrigerator, additional dishes, shower, and toilet; as well as a pétanque court. This cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of the village of Château l'évêque and close to Périgueux, a listed 'Town of Art and History' (St. Front Cathedral, Vésone Tower, Gallo-Roman trail, Medieval-Renaissance trail, Mataguerre Tower, museums, etc.), and 16 km from Brantôme, "The Venice of Périgord" (abbey and village). Also not to be missed: the castles of Bourdeilles and Puyguilhem, the Villars cave, the village of St. Jean de Côle (Floralies on the weekend of May 8th), the Truffle Ecomuseum and truffle trails in Sorges.
In the village, a small market is held every Sunday 700 m from the house, where there is also a bakery/grocery store, a medical center with a pharmacy, and a hairdresser. Two city bikes are available.
