A traditional Châtelaillon house. The living area of the house includes an entrance which distributes two bedrooms, a bathroom with sink and separate toilet shower - A living room and adjoining kitchen. From this large room, an exit leads to the 260 m2 wooded garden and to a bathroom on the ground floor. It is very practical for beach returns. In this garden, it is very pleasant to take the meals and to rest, barbecue, deckchairs at your disposal on a wooden terrace of 25 m2. For your comfort flat screen TV, internet connection (wifi and tv) DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher. The beds are made when you enter the house.
If necessary, we are happy to pick you up at La Rochelle train station or airport.
For winter, we have central heating.
In front of the house you will find public parking spaces, 10 spaces available for some houses. It is possible to go from the garden to the street by a side passage along the house.
We can comfortably accommodate 4 people, an additional sofa bed in a room increases the sleeping capacity to 6 persons.

Wonderful stay and very welcoming hosts

We really enjoyed our stay, the owners were wonderful and so helpful. The main bed wasn’t great so we ended up sleeping in the two twin beds but other than that everything was perfect. Wonderful garden, plancha for cooking our wonderful seafood meals. Bikes are available on the property and we made full use of them and the boulangerie and town centre with an indoor daily market (with amazing fresh seafood stalls) was amazing. Thank you Marie pierre and Francois for a wonderful stay.

Delightful house and town

Thank you Francois for a lovely couple of weeks at your house in Chatelaillon-Plage. The house is well positioned, and a short distance from a delightful town, which we found great pleasure walking around throughout our stay. We loved the garden, as did our dog, with plenty of places to sit either in the sun or shade, and the fig tree at the bottom of the garden provided plenty of delicious fruit for breakfast. With La Rochelle a short drive away, and plenty of other interesting places to visit within easy distance, we look forward to returning next year. Keith & Sharon

Seaside delight!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Chatelaillon Plage. The house is well-situated, with an excellent boulangerie a few minutes walk away, as is the local Tourism Office and the railway station which is very handy. It also only takes a few minutes to get to the beach. The house has every thing you need for a short holiday, and has a lovely garden with trees. The garden is well-equipped - a parasol and dining table/chairs, armchairs and also sun loungers and a barbecue. The owners were extremely amiable, kind and helpful, even offering to collect us from the airport. All in all, a very enjoyable week!

Sehr schöne Zeit in Châtelaillon Plage

Mein Mann und ich waren zwei Wochen hier. Die Unterkunft war wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos, bestens ausgestattet mit wunderschönem Garten, zentral gelegen. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder!

Maison traditionnelle, très agréable et confortable, équipée avec tout le nécessaire. Joliment décoré avec goût. Le jardin est spacieux et permet de profiter à la fois du soleil et de l'ombre. Accueil chaleureux, beaucoup d'empathie pour ce qui fait la réussite des vacances. Marchés, boulangeries, restaurants et plage accessibles à pied. Point de départ idéal pour de longues balades ou visites de la région de La Rochelle, de l'Ile de Ré,... Qu’est-ce qu’une personne pourrait vouloir de plus ?

Perfekt für Strandurlaub und Ausflugstouren

Das Haus bietet alles, was man für den Urlaub braucht: eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ausreichend Platz zum Essen und einen schönen Wohnbereich. Sehr gute Betten. Und vor allem einen schattigen, ruhigen Garten, der nicht einsehbar ist. Das haben wir bei der Hitze sehr genossen. Bäcker, Apotheke und Supermarkt sind fussläufig erreichbar. Ebenso der Strand und der Bahnhof. François und Marie-Pierre haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen, hatten auch den ein oder anderen Ausflugstipp für uns und waren bei Bedarf jederzeit erreichbar. Gerne wieder!

Unterkunft wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos. Die Planacha zum Grillen ist super!!!! Für 3 Personen haben wir sehr viel Platz gehabt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

A louer sans hésiter

Location conforme à la description. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Pas besoin de voiture plage commerces marché a proximité. Propriétaires accueillants et à l'écoute. Jardin terrasse et plancha tout y est pour passer un agréable séjour. Nous nous reviendrons certainement. Alors n'hésitez pas, réservez.

Wir wurden äußerst herzlich in Empfang genommen. Es wurde uns ausführlich alles wichtige gezeigt. Wir bekamen direkt Tipps zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung. Sehr großer und toller Garten! Küche mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet.

Fantastic experience!

Very kind owner Francois (and son) expected us at arival tot explain and show us everything in good english. We found a very nice house with everything you need, including 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one with a spacious rainshower!). Nice, large and private garden were you can sit in the sun from 10 AM untill later in the evening. Shady trees for those who prefer less sunshine. Busstop at 50 yards en trainstation at 5 minute walk. From there it's a 10 minute trainride to lovely harbourtown La Rochelle. Chatelaillon itself is a quit and pleasant little beachvillage (mind you: we were there in june so it could become al little crowdier in the months after...). It has a nice boulevard, good beach, a large stack of older and often beautiful villa's to admire on a stroll and enough restaurants to choose from. Close to the Cognac region (take your bike or car and explore this beautiful landscape), the marais region and some fine cities to visit. We had a great time here for little over 2 weeks and will certainly return (which we rarely do). To visit al the places we couldn't in 2 weeks and for this fine spot.

A home away from home

Charmante maison idéalement située à Chatelaillon, plus besoin de voiture ! La maison et le jardin sont très agréables et décorés avec goût dans les moindres détails. Chatelaillon est bien situé pour découvrir la Charente-Maritime : La Rochelle et Rochefort en train, les îles... Merci à M. et Mme Gilbert pour leur sympathique accueil.

JOLIE MAISON CHATELAILLON

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable du 14 au 21 avril 2018, avec en plus un temps estival! Tout est fait pour recevoir dans les meilleures conditions les vacanciers, dans une maison chaleureuse, très propre, très fonctionnelle, bien placée dans le centre de Chatelaillon. Tout est à disposition, les lits sont fait à notre arrivée, la maison est bien équipée, des produits ménage à volonté, même des dosettes de café!! Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et de son jardin, ce qui est très appréciable. Nos hôtes sont très accueillants, cadeaux de bienvenue très appréciable également. Bref un séjour formidable. Adultes et petit chien ravis!!

Excellent séjour à Châtelaillon

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans la maison et elle nous laissera un très beau souvenir ! L'accueil des propriétaires, le côté cosy, les chambres prêtes, le petit jardin impeccable pour profiter des rayons du soleil et prendre l'apéro, les vélos, tout à distance de matche,... Tout y était pour passer un excellent séjour dans cette belle région. Les enfants ont adoré aussi ! Un coup de cœur!

Sehr schönes Ambiente, angenehme Vermieter.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, die Vermieter sind sehr bemüht. Es war alles im Haus vorhanden. Frühstücken im Garten war morgens ein schöner Start in den Tag. Die nähere Umgebung gibt viel her, gerade wenn man mit Kindern verreist.
